Laibach's cover of Blind Lemon Jefferson's song. Based on a video by Phillip Bussmann, originally created for the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus theatre production of Die Macht der Finsternis (Power of Darkness) by Leo Tolstoy (directed by Sebastian Baumgarten, 2012). See That My Grave Is Kept Clean also features shots from Dziga Vertov’s ‘Enthusiasm’ and Maša Jazbec's ‘First Blood’.

The Whistleblowers - March 2014

Laibach invited the Norwegian director to create the video for Spectre opening track. The track is inspired by provocateurs such as Edward Snowden and Bradley/Chelsea Manning. Video was shot in Riga (Latvia) using a LOMO soviet camera lens.

The trailer was directed by Sašo Podgoršek, postproduction by nejaaka, featuring EnKnapGroup. EKG are the first professional contemporary dance group in Slovenia, established in 2007. The short video promoted the album Spectre which was due for released a few months later.

The song deals with impossibility of love in impossible times, inspired by Yevgeny Zamyatin's dystopian novel 'We'. The animations parts were taken from Vuk Jevremovic's 'La Isla De Los Muertos', used by permission.

As Laibach prepared to go over to North Korea they had reworked some Korean songs which they planned to perform. Morten who had organised the trip directed the video.
